The network DVD solution is a similar solution to the Digital Media Player with the additional
capability to playback DVD/VCD/CD. Not only can it function as a conventional DVD player, but it also has the ability to read ISO discs where you can store your video, music and photo files.
Nowadays, in order to store a full length high definition movie, a blue-ray DVD or HD-DVD is needed
due to the vast amount of data storage required. And only with a blue laser player, you will be able to playback such DVD. Syabas has developed a proprietary feature in our middleware for the network
DVD player. Our red laser high definition DVD playback has the ability to playback high definition content just as well as the blue-ray disc. By storing a WMV9-HD movie in a normal DVD, together
with the HTML navigation user interface, users will be able to experience HD content playback without resorting to the more expensive blue-ray or HD-DVD player.
Similarly, like the Digital Media Player, the network DVD player not only has the ability to stream content via the network and DVD loader but also via the USB port.
Connect a USB external HDD and you'll have access to digital media contents not only locally but across your home from network as
well. This wide coverage makes our network DVD player the center piece of the Digital Home Entertainment network.
